The Gordon Research Conference and Seminar on Polar Marine Science will be held in Ventura, CA March 9-15, 2013. Abstract submissions for both the GRS (for early career researchers) and GRC (for all) are open now. Some funding will be available for students and postdocs attending both the GRS and GRC. Numerous astrobiological topics are a good fit for this meeting including low temperature ecology, ice shelf processes, and sea ice processes. In particular we seek abstract submissions that investigate interactions between ice, ocean, and atmosphere, and that cross traditional disciplinary boundaries.
